Lancaster Brethren In Christ (LBIC) will continue their sponsorship of the Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Good News Club this October at Bucher Elementary School and will continue second semester each Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm. The school is only 1 mile north of the church! LBIC provides both monetary support and persons to help run the club. If you are looking for a church to attend that is concerned with reaching into the community, we would love to worship with you and you are invited to be our guests anytime! We are located on Fruitville Pike across from K-Mart shopping center. The club is open to Bucher students garde 1 through grade 5 with parent permission. Permission forms may be obtained at the school or from the church. Please review this website for much more information on schedules and our ministries.

What Parents can do to help your child get the most out of the Good News Club:
1. Talk to your child about what they are learning each week.
2. Encourage them to spend a few minutes with God each day completing their Wonderbook devotional book and in prayer.
3. Attend church services on Sunday. Get involved in some of the ministries of the church. If you do not have a church, please see a Good News Club volunteer OR attend Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church, Fruitville Pike.
4. Be an example! A child that sees their parent excited for Christ will be more excited ! Find ways to praise God, acknowledge all that he has created, and serve others as Jesus so selflessly cared for us!
Missions Focus
This year, all the good News Clubs will be learning about and supporting children in six different countries around the world. All Lancaster County clubs combine their money to benefit work being done in the country of Lebanon. Please consider giving your child extra opportunities to earn money to give to the children of Lebanon.
