TUESDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

All women are invited to join the 8:15 to 9:15 am. group in the church library.  This group is studying I Corinthians  and meets each Tuesday morning.

EVERY SUNDAY…

Adult small groups meet each Sunday at 9 am.  Now, a group will focus on the previous Sunday’s sermon to reveal biblical truths and to help us become better disciples of Christ.  With stimulating discussion, participants will share their ideas.  All adults are invited to attend.

MID WEEK LIFT STARTS AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2012

What?  A mid-week dinner at LBIC (by donation) followed by classes for every age.

When?  Dinner at 6 pm. by donation.   Classes at 6:45 pm.  LIFT runs 8 weeks ending on March 21.

Why?  Everyone needs a mid-week LIFT of your spirits.

ADULT GROUPS

 “Discover LBIC” groups. We will ask strategic questions to uncover the DNA of LBIC. Each group will meet for 3 weeks to share and give input.  A second group will begin Feb. 22, 2012.   Each LBIC adult is encouraged to join one of the three groups led by Pastor Josh (please sign up on Lobby bulletin board).

Goal:  The working premise is each church is unique in its history, makeup, and gifts. Not all churches are the same.  Each church has a unique DNA or code. When they operate according to that code they function well, however when they operate against that code or are unaware of the code the church works against itself.

Beth Moore DVD study will be organized by Susan Kreider  located in the Church House across Farmington Lane and is entitled:  “Here and Now… There and Then  — A lecture series on Revelation”.  This is a continuation from last semester.  Beth Moore says about this study, “It’s hopeful purpose is to increase worship, anticipation, and yes, fear of God in willing hearts and to light a fire in our spirits to study Revelation in greater depth.”

“Fellowship Hour” An unstructured time when any adult may join others in the Fellowship Hall to catch up on life, discuss how God is working in your life, perhaps pray together and have a cup of coffee!

ALL LBIC CHURCH BREAKFAST

Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 9 am. we will gather together in the Family Life Center for a great social time as we eat breakfast prepared by our fantastic kitchen staff.   Don’t miss this !
