WHAT TO EXPECT…
What are your services like?
Our worship services offer a combination of traditional and contemporary music styles, with challenging sermons based on scripture and applicable to our daily lives. Listen to one!
What are the service times?
The Sunday morning Worship Service is from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Do you offer a Sunday School?
Yes we do! We call them Bible Learning Classes. Classes are from 9 to 10 am. each Sunday morning. Classes are designed for all age groups. For additional information, see the Ministry page of your choice: Children, Youth, and Adult.
What is a good way to get connected?
The midweek LIFT offeres a meal at 6 pm. followed by groups for all ages, inculding adults. This relaxing eventing is a good way to meet people and see what LBIC is all about!
What should I wear?
At Lancaster BIC, we mostly dress casually. We believe that what a person looks like on the outside is not nearly as important as on the inside.
What is the benefit to me of attending Sunday Worship?
There is something special that happens when we worship God in a larger community. We would very much enjoy meeting and worshiping God with you on Sunday mornings either in the Sanctuary OR via video in the Fellowship Hall (lower level).
What about my children?
Children are a priority. Our goal is that your children will have a great time each Sunday morning and throughout the week. In addition, we have an array of weekday morning programs for both toddlers and their moms and dads!
Where does my teenager get connected?
On Sunday mornings, we encourage youth to attend the morning worship service and also to attend a CRAVE gathering designed especially for them. CRAVE provides several opportunities to connect on both Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings. Activities often center around Jesus in our spiritual lives while some focus on our physical and social development. Our youth are active and with our gym, the possibilities are ENDLESS!
