                    Missions and Service

                                                        Friendship Ministry - On Sunday mornings we sponsor  

                                                                          a class for developmentally disabled persons.  Teachers 

                                                        provide music, worship, instruction and affirmation.

Sharing with Appalachian People (SWAP) - Each summer a team spends a week in Kentucky

doing home improvement projects for needy residents in Appalachia.

Missions Committee - Our church is kept abreast of missions endeavors and opportunities 

by our active missions committee.

Vision in Action (VIA) - Sponsored by the Missions Committee, VIA collects contributions and

provides financial assistance for persons from our church going on short term missions trips.

Angel Tree Project - Christmas gifts are purchased and delivered to the children of local prison

 inmates.  Our youth are especially active in this community ministry.

Community Initiatives - Special work day projects for community and parachurch ministries

are sponsored by various small groups in the church.  Anyone is welcome to initiate a community

service project.  Church staff assist in promoting the projects.
