The preschool program at LBIC church provides children with a supportive, opportunistic learning environment and a curriculum of academics and Christian values that encourage children to explore and learn while preparing them with a Biblical foundation for life.

Our purpose: The preschool program at the Lancaster Brethren In Christ Church  complements the learning that takes place within the family every day.  The preschool is an outreach of the Lancaster Brethren In Christ Church to the community.   We wish to honor God and to exalt our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Class choices for the 2011-2012 school year: Classes will begin September 19, 2011. Each daily session will meet from 9am until 11:30am.  A teacher and an assistant will lead each class.

One-day class is designed for children ages 2 to 3.  This class will be offered on Wedensdays and will consist of no more than 10 children.  The children will participate in group time, stories, games, and art activities.  Gross motor skills will be practiced on the playground and in the gym.

The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday and is for children ages 3 and 4.  These children will be working on academic basics while interweaving social skills and Christian values.  Children will get to use the large motor facilities, visit the library , participate in service projects and go on at least one field trip. 

Three-day class for children ages 3 and up – This class will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Children will be challenged at their individual level while studying a wide variety of topics.  There will be a strong focus on academics and Christian values. Children will have a weekly library visit, and several field trips.  Children will also participate in several service projects.

Enrollment and tuition details: A non-refundable $45 enrollment fee must accompany application to hold the child’s spot.  Yearly tuition is based on $9 a session payable in several payment plans – yearly, quarterly, and monthly.  Total tuition for the one-day class is $270, two-day class is class as $540, and the three-day class is $810. The price has not changed in several years.  Also, there is a sibling discounts.
